Dying to Meet you! A 60's Murder Mystery...

Hempstead House Hotel is delighted to announce our first Murder Mystery evening of 2023

£55.00

per person to include, three course evening meal, coffee and Murder Mystery entertainment.

The Evening:

We are thrilled to welcome back the wonderful & talented The Company Upfront to perform this brand new Murder Mystery evening.

The “murder” and subsequent investigation will take place during the dinner with the conclusion and resulting winners being revealed at the end.

As a choice menu, guests are required to submit pre-orders in advance. Dietary requirements will be catered for and must be highlighted in advance.

Guests will be seated on tables of ten. Only parties of 8+ are guaranteed private tables.

The Murder Mystery:

Dying to Meet You! Welcome to groovy London Town in the Swinging Sixties.

The Beatles are at the top of the charts, The Liberal Party are in the safe hands of Jeremy Thorpe and Britain is celebrating yet another Eurovision Song Contest victory with Sandy Shaw’s “Puppet on a String”.

Meanwhile, dating agents Serge and Petra are planning a Lonely Hearts Club event. But the course of true love never did run smooth and things go badly wrong when Cupid's arrow strikes with unexpected and deadly effect. What a bummer!

Groove on down and help to solve this terrible crime man! It’ll be a gas!

Timings

Guests are asked to arrive at 7.30pm for pre-dinner drinks in the Coach House Bar, prior to being seated for dinner service at 8.00pm in the Heritage Suite. The evening will end at approximately 11.00pm.

Dress Code

It would be lovely to see as many of you as possible dressed in the era of the 1960’s! This is not mandatory though. Feel free to come dressed smart/casual.

Rooms

Accommodation is available from £205 B&B subject to availability, to include full use of the Aquamanda Spa from check in at 3pm to 5pm on the day of departure.

Guests attending our Special Events may receive a complimentary upgrade (subject to availability).

Past Events

Information

Unless otherwise stated, a £10 deposit per person is required at time of booking. Full pre-payment is required 1 month prior.

Deposit payments can be made with card details over the phone, bank transfer or payment link on request.

Please note that Hempstead House no longer accepts cash on the premises. All purchases on site must be made by card payments only.

Please note all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Cancellations, either by individuals or as a group including reduced attendance, received 1 month prior to event will result in loss of deposits.

All cancellations received within 1 month of the event will unfortunately result in a full cancellation charge.

Guests are entitled to a full reimbursement should the hotel cancel the event unless the hotel is forced to close following government guidelines where a full credit voucher only will be issued.

Any cancellations must be confirmed in writing.
