Hotel Terms and Conditions of Business 2024

All bedroom, private event & bookings must be confirmed by one of the following methods:-

As of September 2024 we are a CASHLESS venue and unable to accept payment by cash. We accept Visa, Mastercard and major bank cards only for payments. 

For private bookings credit or debit card details or full payment online or over the phone. These will not be retained or stored on our system but verified via our secure portal. 

All bookings are subject to a 24 hour cancellation policy. If not cancelled prior to 6.00pm on the day before arrival, the full charge will be levied.

All group bookings (ie. 4 rooms +) are subject to a 7 day cancellation policy.

All deposits are non-refundable.

Our check in times are 3.00pm onwards and check out is 11.00 am. Guests may enjoy our spa facilities until 5pm on the day of departure but must vacate their rooms . If an early check in is required this can sometimes be arranged subject to availability. On Sunday a late checkout at 5.00pm is possible, subject to availability, if a reservation is made in the restaurant for Sunday lunch.

Hempstead House has the right to amend or terminate any offers without prior notice

Any damage to property of Hempstead House Hotel will be liable to the Primary name on the reservation or booking.

All telephone calls may be recorded for monitoring and training purposes

Minimum age for guest accommodation is 18 years of age.

Minimum age for Spa Days, Members Guests & Treatments is 16 years of age but must be accompanied by an adult of 18 years of age or over

Treatment appointments may be re-booked (subject to availability) at a time to suit up to 24 hours prior to your appointment, otherwise we will have to charge a 100% cancellation fee. All Spa Days & Treatments are Non-Refundable

Families with children under 16 have allocated swimming times of 5pm-6pm and 8am-9am daily during school holidays and weekends only.

Children must be accompanied by an adult of 18 years of age or over at all times during allocated swimming times and it is the responsibility of the adult to adhere to spa rules & the adult is responsible for the safety of the child. **No more than 2 children per adult**
