While we binge watch and eagerly await the next season of this iconic series, let us reminisce the spectacular “Bridgerton”, as we invite you, the gentry and nobility, for a delectable high tea in the sunny gardens of Hempstead House Hotel!

“Quite the Social Event of the Year!” as Lady Whistledown would proclaim!

On Saturday 31^st May 2025 , join us on the lawns of the hotel where we will spoil you with a delicious afternoon tea with Hempstead House as your beautiful backdrop, all while listening to the delightful sounds of a live string quartet performing the popular classical soundtrack of Bridgerton.

Private tables will be available as per individual bookings.

Being an outdoor event, please note that the hotel will not provide shelter. Gazebos are not permitted.

“RAIN DOES NOT STOP PLAY!” - Please dress appropriately for our unpredictable British weather as the performance will be planned for outside.

In the event of rain, this event will be relocated to the Heritage Suite where guests will be sat on large joiner tables.

Dietary requirements and intolerances can be catered for providing these are highlighted in advance to include gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian or vegan afternoon teas.

Traditional or Sparkling?

The price for the afternoon is £35 per adult to include Traditional Afternoon Tea and live music.

Sparkling afternoon tea will include a glass of Chapel Down Sparkling Wine at £45 per adult.

Children are welcome at £25 per child.

String Quartet:

It is with great pleasure that we welcome Weddington Strings, a professional string quartet to entertain you with the soundtrack from Bridgerton and more.

Timings

Guests will be asked to arrive when the gardens open from 2.30pm.

High tea will be served at approximately 3pm.

The afternoon will close at approximately 5pm.

Please dress appropriately for our unpredictable British weather as the performance will hopefully be outside.

Past Events

Information

Unless otherwise stated, a £10 deposit per person is required at time of booking. Full pre-payment is required 1 month prior.

Deposit payments can be made with card details over the phone, bank transfer or payment link on request.

Please note that Hempstead House no longer accepts cash on the premises. All purchases on site must be made by card payments only.

Please note all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Cancellations, either by individuals or as a group including reduced attendance, received 1 month prior to event will result in loss of deposits.

All cancellations received within 1 month of the event will unfortunately result in a full cancellation charge.

Guests are entitled to a full reimbursement should the hotel cancel the event unless the hotel is forced to close following government guidelines where a full credit voucher only will be issued.

Any cancellations must be confirmed in writing.
